Mangrove Tour and Cable Car

So we have arrived in Kuala Lumpur yesterday and our paradise holiday is over. But first I have to mention the great trip that we had three days ago. We have booked a Mangrove Tour with the same provider as our car (it costed RM120 per person, later we saw an offer of RM99; you probably can get it cheaper if you go directly to the jetty). I was well arranged; the car picked us up in the hotel, the tour was for about 6 hours plus guide and lunch in the end. The tour started with a “hunt” for animals-we managed to see “walking fish”, crabs, snakes and of course monkeys. The the guide took us to place were eagles feeds. It was amazing. There were about ten eagles flying up and down for fish. Langkawi is actually named after brown eagle and you can see one on every local gift ( lang=eagle, kawi=brown). Later on they took us to fish farm where we could feed Stingray fish. The tour included also Crocodile and Bat Cave visit and because we had a good weather they took us to the sea and for swimming.
We were so tired after all of this excitement that after lunch and ride back into the hotel we only managed to relax next to the hotel pool.
Because we could not go to Cable Car on Sunday due to strong winds we have decided to try it again on our last day. Normally you can expect to queue for a bit but as it is not a high season we had to queue for only 20 min. On the way up the hill I have to say I got a bit scared. The cable car is changing its speed and the rope is not steady at all:-). However, the view was amazing. It is worth it as there is not just one view point but at least four different platforms. And this was the end of our holiday on the paradise island called Langkawi…if you wanna see more pictures they are all in PHOTOS.
